NZ Newport: The Electric Experience.

A free one-day conference for Net Zero Newport offering practical insights on the benefits of electric for achieving net zero. The event gave attendees the perfect opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of electric vehicles (EVs), bikes, home energy improvements like heat pumps, solar panels and more. With hands-on test drives, businesseses and residents got the chance to drive the latest electric vehicles, and learn about EVs, charging infrastructure, funding opportunities and more. Whether attendees were interested in installing an EV charge point at home, electrifying their fleet or learning what is happening in their community, exhibitors and panellists on the day were on hand to help them navigate the electric world.

Electrifying Transport in the Black Country - Black Country Transport.

Residents and local business attended an electrifying event at the Very Light Rail National Innovation Centre in Dudley. Attendees immersed themselves in the world of electric vehicles (EVs), bikes and eScooters with hands-on test drives and the opportunity to meet local providers to support their electric journey. They were able to connect with suppliers and installers specialising in electric vehicles and associated charging infrastructure and seek advice ranging from installing home chargers to electrifying their business fleet.

Explore Electric - West Yorkshire Combined Authority.

An EV event for business and local residents to test drive electric vehicles with no sales pitches and to find out more about the future of electric vehicles in West Yorkshire. The event gave attendees the opportunity to talk to experts and ask questions, learn about all kinds of renewable energy technologies, test drive electric vehicles and have their say to improve electric vehicle charging for everyone in the region. Attendees experienced a showcase of 40 electric vehicles and expert exhibitors leading the way in the switch to electric.

Discover Electric - Achieving Net Zero, Horsham District Council.

An EV event for business and local residents to immerse themselves in the realm of electric vehicles and learn how their collective efforts can lead toward a net-zero future.  Attendees enjoyed an immersive experience delving into cutting-edge innovations, gleaning insights from industry leaders, and unveiling pathways toward a sustainable future. Speakers included Martin Offiah MBE and engaging discussions with subject matter experts alongside hands-on test drives of electric vehicles, a deep dive into the EV ecosystem and networking opportunities with suppliers and installers specialising in electric vehicles and associated charging infrastructure, including charge point operators, installers, and renewable energy experts.

Understanding how to transition to EV in business and at home, Cheshire West & Chester Council.

An EV event to help businesses and residents in “understanding how to transition to EV in business and at home”. The event provided businesses and residents with essential advice around transitioning to EV, including: test drives; forthcoming vehicle releases; electric HGV; real life costs of running an EV or EV fleet; salary sacrifice; EV leasing and purchase considerations; grant funding available; how to select and install suitable EV charging; Integrating EV charging with other renewables and energy systems; and the process to request increase power supply. Stellantis also presented on how their Ellesmere Port plant has been remodelled to support EV production.  

Leading the Charge - an Electric Vehicle Showcase, Redcar & Cleveland Council.

An EV event for business and local residents showcasing the council's EV strategy and promoting a range of solutions available to businesses and residents to begin/continue their transition to Net Zero. Attendees were able to to learn more about the EV eco system, talk to subject matter experts, test drive a range of electric vehicles and meet a variety of suppliers and installers of electric vehicles and related electric vehicle charging infrastructure covering charge point operators, installers and associated businesses.

Drop in session in support of the‘Kirklees Innovative Electric Vehicle Programme’ - Kirklees Council.

Support with electric vehicles for a drop in event in support of the Kirklees Innovative Electric Vehicle Programme. Businesses and residents were being consulted on the future for EV usage in Kirklees.

Charging Ahead - Making Great Yarmouth Green, Great Yarmouth Borough Council

A B2B event providing an opportunity for local businesses  to learn about how they can further their Net Zero ambition to decarbonise business practices. Attendees were invited to meet organisations and other businesses taking action to reduce their carbon impact and those who are on the pathway to Net Zero. Exhibitors included those with the latest Electric Vehicles, charging points, solar energy, and other green technology suppliers together with independent advisors.

Get Connected: Charging towards a greener future, Plymouth City Council

A public  EV event supporting residents, and local businesses to transition to net zero. Attendees were able to drop in to the event and learn more about the EV infrastructure in Plymouth and the surrounding area, talk to subject matter experts and test drive a range of electric vehicles. Expert advice was available from a variety of suppliers and installers of electric vehicles and related electric vehicle charging infrastructure including charge point operators, installers and associated businesses.

Let's Go Electric, Telford and Wrekin Council

A B2B EV event providing an essential, hands-on, informative, and interactive seminar, tailored for businesses looking to embrace the shift towards electric vehicles. Attendees were encouraged to dive into the EV ecosystem, learn how to monetise EV Charging, save money through renewables, engage with subject matter experts and test-drive various electric vehicles.

Charging Ahead: Facilitating the Switch to Electric, North Lincolnshire Council

A B2B EV event for North Lincolnshire Council supporting the local business community's transition to net zero. The event showcased the future council EV strategy and promoted a range of solutions available to businesses to begin and continue their transition to net zero.  Attendees took the opportunity to learn more about the EV eco system, talk to subject matter experts and test drive a range of electric vehicles.

Visit Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival, Great Yarmouth

Supply of the 1st EV Green Zone at the popular 2-day Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival. The public were able to  view a range electric vehicles alongside classic cars, sports cars and supercars, as well as vintage motorcycles and custom bikes. 

Leading the Charge event for Cumbria Council, Keswick

A B2B EV experience event for Cumbria Council in conjunction with the Cumbria Electric Vehicle Charging Partnership.  The event saw the launch of C-Volt, the Electric Vehicle Charging Partnerships Strategy on the recommended roll out of EV charging across the county.

Electricity Northwest EV, Renewables and Energy Efficiency for Business event, Preston

A B2B EV experience event for Electricity Northwest at the AMRC in Preston. The event brought together industry leaders and businesses from across Lancashire and the North West and offered practical advice and guidance on switching to electric vehicles, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Delegates heard insights from industry leaders and case studies from businesses already on their net zero journey and had the chance to network with other businesses and suppliers.

A B2B EV experience event for Electricity Northwest at Media City in Salford. The event was an electric vehicles showcase with the opportunity to test drive popular models of electric cars, commercials, and sustainable travel solutions. There were pesentations from industry professionals discussing electric vehicles, active travel, charging availability and the support available for businesses looking to electrify their fleet.
